THE ROLE
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
• Bring a passion for great storytelling and exciting, beautiful content to each Gusto 54 account
• Manage on-site & execution aspects of social media with a primary focus on Instagram but not limited to Facebook, TikTok, BlueSky, or any other relevant social media platforms.
• Execute a social content calendar within Status Brew or other that aligns with overall marketing strategies shared bi-weekly, including but not limited to static and video content, copywriting, UGC and simple graphic content
• Regular engagement: commenting, liking, re-sharing, responding to messages, and engaging with audiences across all platforms.
• Collaborate and build fresh social assets as needed on a smaller scale in support of Gusto 54 Sales & Communication Department strategic requests
• Support other departments such as but not limited to Events with digital and printed collateral design
• Provide input on social media strategy as it relates to customer identification, competitive research, platform
ascertainment, creative messaging and new opportunities
• Adhere to Gusto 54 & Stella West Hollywood brand guidelines in all aspects of content creation, copywriting and messaging.
It is the responsibility of G54 to provide these clearly and timely.
• Assist with the creation of campaigns & promotions including external social media partnerships, etc.
• Manage social media paid ads and campaigns
• Assess photography & videography and note gaps in the asset manager in Status Brew
• Liase with business leaders to ensure content is relevant and accurate
• Audit all accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and a positive guest journey
• Provide monthly and campaign-based reports for each account. Due within 1-week of a new calendar month in order to adjust upcoming content and strategy as needed.
• Manage social media scheduling platform including asset management, connected accounts, etc.
• Stay up to date on new trends in social media and provide ongoing recommendations for new
tactics to deliver on strategic objectives and goals
SAMPLE ROUTINE
• G54 sends out bi-weekly/monthly strategy within Status Brew including priority items, feedback, any budget use, etc.
• The social coordinator (SC) identifies missing photography/video as needed within the look-ahead calendar of
priorities/initiatives
• Creates assets based on those priorities in tools such as Canva, Illustrator, etc.
• Schedule everything in Status Brew for pre-approval through all channels
• Responsible for on-the-fly content. ‘Feature’ menu items are posted 1x weekly
• Provide monthly analytics reporting that are considered when designing upcoming assets/initiatives
• Engage with third-party shoots for on-location shoots, as needed and pre-approved, based on existing quarterly budgets
• Support with pre-selected Influencer work to promote the brand within quarterly budgets

Preference will be given to candidates with the following:
• A passion for food and drink and a creative drive for storytelling
• 2+ years of experience in a social media or marketing role
• Excellent verbal and written skills with an emphasis on copywriting as well as using multiple brand voices
• Basic knowledge of GoogleMyBusiness, Facebook Ads, Google Ads and other paid digital marketing
• Experience with social media scheduling platforms (Status Brew, HootSuite, etc.)
• Experience with basic graphic design platforms (Canva, DesignWizard, etc.)
• Ability to multitask and adjust priorities quickly
• Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy
• Are self-starters who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in the hospitality industry is an asset
